Qathy’s Qids Qorner
Here is Qathy’s Quirky side. When my “one son wonder,” Tom, was born in 1989, it felt like a normal unfurling to get into Children’s Music. I began learning kids songs and feeling the healing playfulness of music for the young at heart. It wasn’t long before I began writing my own children’s songs. Over the next 10 years, I recorded 3 Children’s Music CDs, “The Rhythm of Nature,” “When I Grow Up,” and “It Sounds Like This.”
I began to barter music for my son’s Pre-school and Kindergarten tuition. I made a career out of going to schools, libraries, Birthday Parties, gazebos, and churches, to share my music. Even today, and my son is 30 now, I engage in Children’s Music whenever the opportunity knocks. Youthful harmonious energy contributes to a healing experience in my life, as well as the gratification of joining in song with others.
